Today I went grocery shopping for New York because I'm planning on not spending money at all on food so I can buy presents for my family. After looking at my parents' bank account balance, they really need a treat. Right now I feel like I am the only one who can lift up their spirits (older bro doesn't care, middle bro doesn't understand, little bro is going through puberty) so I guess that some presents from New York will make them feel better.
After I saw the amount they have, I realized how much I need a job to help my family. I would honestly put my own goals aside to pay the bills for them, just to give them a little help.
This trip to New York will be more than a music competition, it'll be like a new experience (I mean, New York City+Friends-Parents=Kicks ass). I hope that by next Sunday things get better and I get a free lunch muahahaha >:)
It's really depressing seeing how mom is about to break down whenever she tries to help brother #2. She can't teach him because he can't learn. It's making me sad, really sad. My brothers will not have a future :/
Anyways, this trip will give me some alone time, which is really needed.

Ahh la cosa de volver a la lengua materna. Te da un sentido de q perteneces en un lugar donde la vida sería cien veces mejor que en la que estás. Es muy difícil escribir en la lengua materna cuando apenas se habla, como comer con palillos chinos sin saber.
